March 23 Early Dismissal Procedures
Due to teacher in-service day, students have a half day of classes this Friday, 3/23. Dismissal is as follows: Kindergarten @11:40; 1st-2nd grades @ 11:45; 3rd grade @ 11:55. Kindergartners going home with 3rd graders will wait inside until the later time. Please arrive at the time of your eldest child's dismissal! Drivers arriving ahead of schedule will be asked to exit the driveway and return at the designated time. Drivers will also use the entire length of the driveway; thus, all pick-ups will be at the north end. 
PARCC Testing Begins April 4, 2018
Our third graders will take seven individual tests over a two-week timespan, the first of which will be on Wednesday, April 4. Click on the title above to download Dr. Greene's letter explaining the process and test administration dates. 
Class Placement for 2018-19
Letters went home in backpacks on 3/6/18 explaining the class placement process for 2018-19. Click on the title above to download a copy. One letter is directed to current K/2nd/3rd grade parents. A separate letter is written to current 1st grade parents.  
Register for Spring Session of Middlefork Chess!
Chess class meets Friday mornings from 7:30-8:25 in the  Middlefork cafeteria. The spring session begins April 6, 2018. Click on the title above to download the registration form for fee and schedule information.  
Lunches for the Homeless Program Continues on March 20!
Thank you, Middlefork families, for supporting our 20+ year tradition of providing food to the Lunches for the Homeless Program at the Second Baptist Church in Evanston, IL. Our program kicked off on Tuesday, November 14, with lunches provided by the whole school. Beginning in December and running though April, individual grade levels contribute. The next date is MARCH 20, when lunches will be donated by kindergarten and second grade families. Click on the title above to download instructions and dates.  
2018-19 Kindergarten Registration Starts Now!
Registration consists of an  enrollment form as well as additional documentation that must be downloaded from the District website. You may register in person on January 24, 2018 (2-4:00 p.m. and 6-7:00 p.m.) or online and drop off your additional paperwork. BOXTOPS for Education Drive
Thanks to parent volunteers Trish Andrew and Steve Tomlinson, we will be collecting and redeeming boxtops from hundreds of products, and the money received will go to support our students and their programs. Collection containers will be in both school offices. Click on the title above to see a list of all of the items that are part of this program, from cereal to paper products to trash bags.
